Merry Meet. :))) Each month around the first of the month I’ve been trying to give you a bit of a snapshot on what to look for coming up in the month.
On October 5th we will have our Full Moon for this month, the Full Blood Moon. The veil is going to be this during this time and this is the Moon that is in the same month as Samhain so our focus will be on our intuitive gifts, receiving messages from loved ones on the other side, and receiving other intuitive messages. This entire month you will find the veil to be thin and your gifts to be heightened so make sure you pay attention to how you are doing as you progress through the month. For those of you who are empaths and sensitives you definitely want to be working with your psychic protection. It’s also an amazing time to work with your gifts as long as you take the proper precautions when doing so.
We move into our New Moon on the 19th of October. You are going to find that most of this month you are going to be doing some challenging energy work. It’s a time of releasing, you will be releasing what no longer serves you, releasing things from the past that have no place in your life and really shedding those energetic skins that are potentially holding you back as you get ready to move past Samhain. This is also a time of preparing to let go of loved ones on the other side. We have time to celebrate and honor them and then we must let them go again as we move past Samhain. Be gentle with yourselves during this month. Realize that there is a lot going on energetically and be patient as you move through each day.
On October 31st we have Samhain. Samhain is the festival of the dead. We honor our loved ones who have crossed during this time. It’s also the final harvest. This is the time of the year that we till our gardens completely as our plants have all finished producing a harvest and get them ready to begin anew in the Spring. This is also the time that we prepare to move into the dark part of the year. Most Wiccans celebrate Samhain through November 1st. On the 31st we say goodbye and finish releasing anything that we need to and on November 1st we begin anew with our Witch’s new year. It’s really a wonderful time of the year and very very powerful energy wise.
