In 1970 the Earth Day Network held the first Earth Day to help educate and activate all of us to help heal our world and tend to the problems that we are facing with our environment. Today the Earth Day Network includes over 75,000 partners all over the world all coming together to help protect our planet. Each year on April 22 we celebrate the beginning of this organization by celebrating Earth day.
This year they are holding live events online for the second year in a row. The show will begin right here at 12:00 pm Eastern Time: Earth Day Live The live event will be packed with workshops, panels and discussions about how we can all work together to help restore the Earth and heal her for our future.
One of my favorite pages on the Earth Day Network site is the Take Action Page. This page is where you can register events that you are doing or participating in to help the Earth. There is a live counter on that page that keeps up with all the events that are being posted. For example, this is the count as I am writing this to you:
Hopefully, you will see a higher count when you check in on the page when you read this. You can plan events in your community or even volunteer to help out. I know my town has been posting a lot of them on the community forums on Facebook. It’s been wonderful to see how many people are getting involved and doing what they can to clean up our town and the Earth.
I encourage you to explore the website and see what the Earth Day Network is all about and the many many ways they are helping out all over the world. You will also see just how many people are involved with this wonderful organization. In addition you can see ways that you can help out from volunteer work, to becoming a member of the organization, or purchasing things from the shop to help show your support of what they are doing.
Have a magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
