Learning to balance our energy is an important tool to living a life where we feel happier and healthier. One important type of energy to balance is the energy of our chakras. Today I have a fun activity for you that you can take part in whenever you wish. It will not only help you to balance your chakras but it will also help to bring you some wonderful grounding earth energy and the dreamy energy of air.
Many of you are familiar with the wheels of energy in your body known as chakras. These energetic points in our body correspond to major areas of our body that help to maintain our personal health and well-being. You can see them in the picture above. One of the things that you can do to help keep your chakras open and balanced is by working with the colors that align with the chakras. For example, your root chakra is associated with the color red. When you work with the color red it helps to keep that energy moving the way that it should.
Today’s exercise will help to ground you and to cleanse your chakras and make sure they are moving the way that they should. I love working with Earth energy as it’s not only incredibly powerful when you are looking to work with grounding and cleansing energy but it’s also incredibly refreshing.
This is something that should be simple and fun. Choose a place to walk in nature. It can be anywhere that you wish. On your walk, you want to try to find one item that is the same color as each of your chakras.
1. Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Red
2. Sacral Chakra (Swadhisthana) – Orange
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Yellow
4. Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Green
5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Light Blue/Turquoise
6. Third-Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Amethyst
7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Violet or White
I encourage you to bring a phone or camera on your hunt. Some things you may be able to touch, others you may just need to observe from a distance. Spend as much time as you feel is beneficial with each one drawing the energy of the color towards you and visualizing it connecting with the corresponding chakra. It doesn’t have to go in order.
Pictures are amazing as you can take them with you. If you need more time with a color you can have it. You can also look back at the pictures later to refresh the energy of your chakras if you need to.
Have fun!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
Jasmeine Moonsong
