On one of the Witch’s Journey readings that I do I have a question for what divination method should you be working with and I always love the results that come up for me! I’ve had so many that I can see and need to describe and then someone will come back and tell me that they found it.
When it comes to divination methods I think that people tend to gravitate towards the most common methods, tarot cards, pendulums, runes and I’m sure there’s a few others that I’m leaving out that are common. What you want to do is explore and learn what method of divination you can work with the best.
For instance a long time ago I noticed that whenever I took a bath and had candles with me the flames seemed to dance. In time I started working with those flames and learned that I could read the flames of a candle like a pendulum. I can also use a variety of other items as a pendulum, almost any weighted object on a string will work. I’ve done a lot of psychic fairs and I have seen everything from channeled writings and drawing to pulling the most beautiful colored scarves out of bags.
Divination is a tool to help you connect and communicate with your guides and the energy that surrounds you. It’s a way to make things easier for you. In time you may find that you don’t need to use anything. In the meantime though don’t feel like you have to fit into a divination method that you see everywhere. I encourage you to experiment and even create your own divination methods. Painted stones or carved sticks are a couple others that you can create. Any time you invest your own energy into a divination method it will also help to increase that energy to help you to connect with the divine. Have fun with it!
