This past week Earl was going to trim the bushes in front of our house and he discovered the Mama bird above. We have one strange looking bush now until Mama and her babies are all set.
He was able to sneak a webcam next to her next though for us to keep an eye on her and her babies. It’s been a lot of fun to watch over the last few days.
We believe that she is a song sparrow. Her eggs hatched on Friday night so she now has tiny ones.
It’s been really exciting. Earl set up a live webcam so I could share her with all of you. Hopefully the babies will be there for the next week or so. You can find the live webcam here: Live Bird Cam
