Happy Witch’s Thanksgiving!!! Today we celebrate our Witch’s Thanksgiving and the second of three harvests with the third concluding with Samhain next month. It is also the Autumn Equinox, a day where our night and day are balanced in light. We have some really wonderful energy to work with today.
As the Wheel turns today we get ready to tip the days towards longer nights. For some this is a bit daunting to deal with as I know so many of us enjoy the warmth and light that the sun brings us. Yet I want to remind you that in the darkness there are treasures to be found as well. This isn’t something to fear yet something to embrace. As we prepare to enter the Samhain season ancestors, loved ones, and guides are on the other side excited to bring some extra energy our way. We truly have some energy of warriors waiting at the veil to assist us. Their power is massive this year, I’m sure many of you can feel them. They are always around us but especially so this time of year.
While the Earth may be preparing for slumber in some areas of the world I want to assure you that the energy that surrounds us is most definitely not slowing down. We are moving into a time of a lot of potential this year and some really amazing energy next month with our two Full Moon’s in October. We have a Blue Moon this Samhain and I couldn’t be more excited.
Today focus on the blessings you have in your life and the things that you wish to give thanks for. Take time to appreciate the beauty that is in the world around you. Spend some extra time in the light outside. Work with the spells that I have given you on Daily Magick. Both will help you to really work with the energy around us today.
