When I first started learning Wicca one of the biggest concepts that I needed to understand was that energy is at the base of pretty much everything. If you can understand that, then you can build from there. Everything and everyone in this world, in this universe really is made up of energy. Energy in any form creates vibrations on all different levels. As a psychic I am able to feel those vibrations and interpret them. Our guides use energetic vibrations to communicate with me.
One of the most common misconceptions I see is people who are looking for magick to look like it does in the movies. In order for it to work it must be dramatic right? Cauldrons with purple smoke, frogs feet, some smoking mixture in a bottle with a skull on it….. I know that’s what some people think I do when I tell them I am a witch.
It is energy. You need to learn how to feel energy, sense energy, become one with it and then you can learn to bend it and work with it. The biggest thing… anyone can work with energy. I have so many people who ask me to cast spells for them and it’s something that I won’t do in my career. Simply because I believe strongly that the energy of the person who wants something should be intertwined with the energy of what they want in order for the spell to be the most effective. It’s so important that when you work with magick that it’s your energy mingling with the energy of the universe and your intentions that are being carried out there. I will write spells to help people but then it’s up to that person, their heart, their intention and their energy to carry that spell where it needs to go.
You don’t need to pay someone $500.00 to cast a spell to fix something in your life. You need to get to know yourself and learn to work with energy and you will find you can save yourself a lot of money. If there was really someone in this world who could make things happen that easy they would be making a lot more than $500.00 I can assure you. However what they can do is set your energy in the right direction. They tell you that they have fixed whatever it is that you want in your life and then what happens. You believe that it’s been fixed right? So is it what they did or your energy that is ultimately bringing you what you want. You can make some incredible things happen in your life by working with energy but you also must have trust and belief to go along with it. Most of all though, you need you.
So forget the spectacular ingredients and special smoke if you don’t have access to them you don’t need them. The right items can be helpful when their energy matches what you are trying to accomplish. When you are beginning to work with magick start with pure energy and pure intent. That is the base of what you need to know in spell working and magick. Once you master that then you can add to your practice with special tools and objects to help you enhance your energy work.
The first step in successful magick is mastering energy and really getting to know nature. It’s why you will see so much emphasis on it. It’s a system that I know works as I have been using it for years. Spend time in nature, get to know yourself, learn to work with the energy that surrounds you. You will find it gives you the necessary base that you need to work the spells that you want to use to enhance your life.
