I have some interesting energy coming in with tonight’s New Moon. The energy this past month has felt pretty scrambled and tangled, similar to spaghetti. Sometimes you will feel like you know where you are going, and then there are the twists and turns, and just when you think you might be making some sense of it, someone tosses your bowl, and it gets all confusing again. How many of you have felt like that? With this new lunar cycle, I feel that energy will become more organized and clear, making more sense.
So I have the energy of change around us, but it’s more like a breath of fresh air. It’s almost like someone is saying here…have a seat… it’s been a bit crazy, now it’s time to breathe. Amethyst would be an amazing stone to work with right now and with the New Moon this evening. The energy of Amethyst is grounding and protective yet intuitive, creative, and magickal, and that’s quite similar to what I feel is coming our way with this next lunar cycle.
Our New Moon Moon is in Aries. It’s not a great time to start long-term things with this New Moon. On the other hand, it is a great time to look around and see what’s going on in the world. If you have challenges that you’ve been working on that just don’t seem to want to work their way out, you may find that some clarity comes in with this New Moon, and in the coming weeks, that helps things to fall into place and to make a bit more sense.
You may find an energy boost for courage and confidence, and that’s meant to help to push you out of your comfort zone a bit. You may find that you are challenged this month with something specific that you’ve been wanting to work on in your life. Perhaps it’s a project that you’ve wanted to do but didn’t know where to start. Maybe it’s time to finally look for that raise or promotion. It’s about meeting new goals and pushing yourself just a bit further than perhaps you even realized you should go. You should find some breadcrumbs of success along the way that help with that. 
I pulled the three of swords for our lunar cycle this month. The three of swords is a card that has evolved for me through the many years that I’ve been reading with this deck. Through the years it has come to mean deep truth. This is especially true for searching for personal truth. This lunar cycle focus on the truth. What are you really thinking? What are you feeling? Are you seeing everything as it is? Is there any additional information that you need? It’s going to be about getting grounded and getting acquainted with where you currently are. You may also find yourself really challenging where you are going with your life. Don’t let that scare you? Take that instead as an invitation to really look at things and make sure that you are aligned with what you want in your life. If you aren’t you will find this lunar cycle is a good time to make changes.
