How many of you have worked with runes? They are an ancient divination method that can be used by themselves or you can pair them with another divination method like the tarot to get more accurate results.
Today I have a fun activity for you to do by yourself or with some friends. If you are a member of a coven this would be an amazing dish to bring with you to your next meeting or celebration.
Bake a batch of any smooth cookie that you like. You may also find that biscuits work really well, especially biscuits with some fresh herbs. I personally have never tried them but I always encourage you to get creative. The more personal energy you put into something the more impact it will have.
Bake a batch of at least 24 cookies. I recommend doing a few more in case you have some that are too dark, or some that break. It’s always good to have extras.
Use a simple gel writer that you will find at the store or thin-tipped frosting to write a rune on each cookie. Write the runes on the bottom of the cookies. If you are familiar with the cookies that you are making you can try to etch the runes into the cookies. I have had luck with this with peanut butter ones before but it was a low-fat recipe that I used.
When you are ready and the icing has dried flip them all over. You can either draw one each day to have personal meaning for yourself, or you can share them with others and have them choose the rune that has meaning for them.
