“Allow yourself to experience a world
which is truly magickal, and amazing to see”
– Jasmeine Moonsong
When I was little I was adored Unicorns and the color purple. They just always seemed to go hand in hand for me. I’ll be honest I believe I spent as much time looking for evidence of a Unicorn in the woods as I spent looking for the Fae.
Most of you will recognize the Unicorn for her magical energy. Many of you have likely read countless stories about her in your life like the Last Unicorn. That was one of my favorites when I was little. I watched that movie so many times.
In Celtic Mythology the Unicorn represents innocence and purity. Scotland chose this majestic animal to represent them because it is also known for it’s strength. The Unicorn was first used by them on the Scottish Coat of Arms in the 12th century. If you look into the history of the Unicorn you will find many examples dating back thought time, not only as Scotland’s official animal but in cave drawings in France, tales of sight of them from men like Julius Caesar, there is even a quote in the bible about them.
We work with the Unicorn for her beautiful mystical and magickal energy. I should note that I keep referring to the Unicorn as her, simply for the ease of writing. I have seen them referred to many times in the masculine as well. I personally believe the energy of the Unicorn may be either masculine or feminine. It does not feel limited to one or the other and honestly in my work I feel encompasses both.
The Unicorn brings hope and possibility. They bring you that energy that helps you to understand that anything is possible. If you are looking to work with intuitive gifts the Unicorn is amazing to work with. They help you to see what isn’t immediately apparent for many, see through illusions, and walk between the realms.
I hope that you have a magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
