Here in New England if you wake up early in the morning you may find that you are rewarded by catching the view of some seals on the beach. Especially if you are spending some time on Cape Cod. Earl and I go out to the Cape for the weekend a few times throughout the year and when we do we try to get out to the beach early before they get busy. On one of those trips we were rewarded for our early adventure as the beach had so many seals! I had never seen so many. They were in the water, they were on the beach. It was really incredible to see all of them in one place. You will find seals in a large variety of colors and sizes all over the world. The majority of them are found in places with cold water. They love their time in the water but you may find them on land, especially when they are giving birth to their pups.
If you’ve ever had the opportunity to watch a seal you will find that they are quite playful. They are amazing swimmers and they will swim around each other almost seeming to show off at times as they play and socialize in the water. They are a lot of fun to watch when they are active. As a spirit animal they bring you that energy of play and remind you to have fun each day as you take part in the world around you. Their close connection with water reminds you to go with the flow of life and to be sure to take time to relax when you can. You will find the energy that they bring you is wonderfully positive and light making you release worries and fears while helping you to figure out the best way to have fun with what the day is bringing you for adventures.
Seals are known for the information that they gather. They have incredibly sensitive whiskers that help them to gather information on where their next meal is coming from if the waters are hard to see in. They also have amazing vision and hearing underwater helping them to hunt. When the Seal works with you they can help you to find information that may not be immediately available. They can sort through the murkiness of the energy that may be around you to find clarity that you are looking for. If you are intuitive they can help you to increase your intuition.
When the seal shows up in your life the seal is letting you know that it’s time to pause and take a bit of extra time to enjoy life. You may find that you’ve been taking things too seriously lately and perhaps you need a moment to breathe. They also help you to go with the flow.
