Many of you know that I have been working with the red-tailed hawk for a long time now as a spirit animal. She comes to me in a beautiful white form in my dreams or in spirit form.
About a month ago now a news article caught my eye: “White hawk released as community rallies for rehab center “
The part that caught my eye was the white hawk part. I honestly wasn’t aware that there was an all white hawk? I tried to find some information on it and the best I found was on Wikipedia here: White Hawk I haven’t found anything for where I live here in New England. I did find this article on a leucistic red-tailed hawk: That’s no Snowy Owl… It’s a Leucistic Red-Tailed Hawk. The pictures in this article look a lot like the hawk that they rescued.
If you go back to the original article about the White Hawk that they rescued near me there is a video of them releasing the hawk. It’s really beautiful. I wanted to share it with all of you today as I thought it was just so incredible. I will have my eyes peeled for a white hawk now!
