As I look back over my life I’ve had a lot of moments that seemed small at the time that wound up being incredibly important to me in the future and a memory that I hold onto tightly to.
The day I met someone online who wound up being a best friend and ultimately someone I would spend the rest of my life with.
A day that I pulled Cole out of preschool when he was three because it was his birthday and we spent the entire day in the woods looking for treasures.
My daughter having a heart to heart with me about why she wanted to give up the flute in 5th grade. (she’s now in high school still plays the flute and the trombone now and is in three bands at school!)
Making yarn doll ornaments for the Christmas tree with my Grandmother when I was a little girl.
My son kneeling as the knight in front of Belle (she’s my favorite) at Disney several years ago.
A moment spent on a beach in California when I realized not one but three of my dreams had finally come true.
The list could go on and on and on. I’m sure all of you could come up with a list right on the spot. Actually! You should! Take a moment and write down those memories that mean the world to you. Take your time with it and really soak in the magic of those memories.
Then I want you to think about how many of them you knew were amazing at the time. Some of them will be obvious as the moment I first saw my children on the day they were born. Others are subtle things like the day I took my son to the park that will forever be etched in my mind.
My point to this is that you never know what one of your favorite memories, important, or special memories may mean the most to you. If you live your life as if each moment is special then you will always carry those memories and you will find you have more to celebrate.
Have a magickal day!
