For as long as I can remember I’ve always been drawn to the colonial times in New England particularly the coastal times, Medieval Times and anything Celtic. They are things that I’ve always gravitated towards. I remember having the class field trip in elementary school where we went to a colonial re-enactment village and I felt right at home playing the old games and hanging around the hearth in the kitchen cooking. I remember thinking then how familiar and comfortable things felt.
I did a lot of acting and singing when I was growing up as well. Singing was truly a passion of mine. I got involved in several plays as I adore the theater. One of those plays involved Medieval times and I remember we had to take a class to learn the dialect and from the time and the coach I had was surprised at how quickly I picked it up. I was incredibly comfortable with it and I was given the task of helping everyone else learn to master it as well. I’ll be honest while my acting skills aren’t amazing the fact that I did so well with that accent helped me to score one of the leads in that play.
Go through your life and think about places and times that you’ve been drawn to, things that have drawn your attention and almost felt familiar. What I love about this is that while you may no longer hold the memories, your soul remembers the lives that you have walked. You carry them with you. By exploring times and places that you have experienced you can use that to access those memories and bring those lives closer to your memory. It’s really pretty incredible to work with.
I hope you have a magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
