Happy New Year!! Welcome to the first day of 2023! I’ve been feeling the energy of 2023 coming our way for the past couple of weeks. I know I told some of you that I’ve been reading for and on Moonsong Daily Magick about the blinking stars that I’ve been seeing as messages of love and hope. There is so much energy of optimism right now, and I love that.
So let’s start with where we have been! I called 2022 the year of personal truth and self-love. Looking back over 2022, you likely can find that you have learned so much about yourself. Challenges that you’ve been navigating called to you to be honest with yourself about what you were really thinking and feeling. No more sugar-coating things to make things just work. Sometimes the truth can be challenging, but it can also set you free. For those of you that put in the work, you are going to find that rewards are on the way. Some of you have already been seeing the results of that hard work coming your way.
2022 was a year of self-love. You were called upon to stop the world a bit and to make sure that you were taking care of your overall health and well-being. I know many of you had things that blocked you or stopped you on your path until you understood that you needed to take care of yourself. So many of you want to take care of others, and I love that. It’s one of the things that I love about working with empaths and the most beautiful souls that so many of you are. The best way to take care of others though is to make sure that you prioritize your self-care to make sure that you are in the best shape to help others. How many of you found yourself with your health in the spotlight this year? It’s no coincidence. You need to keep your health and well-being in that spotlight ok? 🙂 Keep that self-love and awareness going strong in 2023, and you are going to find that things go much smoother and you can move your focus to things that you want to spend more time on.
I chose the girl on the swing as the picture for this article as I have energy that feels like it’s swinging up and down with this year. It never is easy right? I don’t think I’ve ever gone into a year saying it would be smooth sailing. That being said, without challenges to help with movement in our lives, it would be tough to move forward. So this year, I have two types of energy coming your way. The first is what I love. It’s this dreamy energy of hope and optimism. It’s going to have you looking at what you really want. Some of you may be taking leaps of faith on yourself. I know one beautiful soul I read for has just decided to change her life completely and take a travel nursing job that she’s wanted forever. I hope that it brings everything that she hopes her way and so much more. It’s a leap of faith to go after what she truly wanted and that’s the sort of big energy some of you may be finding this year; some of you have already felt this energy calling you in the last month as it moves in around all of us. It’s going to be about those dreams you have in your life…those things that call to you and deciding to go after them.
There are things that you want in life, and sometimes the roads that you need to take there can be really scary. If you don’t try taking that road, will you find yourself with regret? Maybe you will be stuck with a case of the “what if’s” Some of you have big changes and big energy coming your way this year. Get ready. You’ve been learning a lot about yourself and a lot about taking care of yourself and this year is the year of movement and change.
While I have this beautiful energy of hopes and dreams, I also have this incredibly grounding energy. It’s going to give you reality checks along the way. You are going to need to figure out where your voice is… what your opinion is… what decisions you need to make based on reality and your dreams and how to find that balance in between. It’s going to be an interesting year! Look for those ups and downs. Sometimes you are going to be following a dream, and you are going to feel so inspired. You are going to find that other times reality is going to come up and make its presence known, helping you to ground but also reminding you where you are standing. It’s your choice if you want to accept the reality of where you are standing and make it the future you move towards or if you want to take a leap of faith and make that journey toward your dreams.
