The next three months always seem to go by in an incredible blur for me as things get really busy out here in New England this time of year. While I know in a lot of the country the children go back in the next week or so, out where I am they go back the first week of September. The next several weeks are usually a blur of trying to take in all of the Summer activities as camps have ended and it’s time for some family fun.
You are going to enjoy the energy this month! Unlike July that had a lot of challenging energy for us, this month is going to be more of a reward for the hard work that you’ve been putting in. You should find things significantly easier than they’ve been. You’re also going to find that it’s a good month for bonding with friends, family and loved ones. Grab that extra time to celebrate Summer with those who are important in your life.

August 1 – Lammas or Lughnasadh – On the 1st of this month we celebrated our first of three harvests on our Wheel of the Year. It’s time to celebrate the crops and gifts that the Earth is giving to us now.
August 5 – Celtic Tree month Hazel begins.
August 12 – 13 – Perseids Meteor Shower
August 13 – Roman Festival of Pomona, goddess of apples and orchards
August 15 – Full Corn Moon
August 23 – Vulcanalia the Roman festival of craftsman.
August 30 – New Moon
August 31 – Raymond Buckland birthday.
