Welcome July!!

If I had to choose one of the most magical times of the year, July would definitely be at the top of my list.  Here in New England fireflies are everywhere and there is something about sitting in your backyard at night just surrounded by thousands of blinking lights that is just so incredibly magical.   We were driving in upstate New York last weekend in a huge state park that had miles and miles of forest and protected lands and the forest around us was just sparkling with fireflies.  It was really incredible.  The only place I’ve ever seen that many fireflies are in the field across from my house where thankfully they don’t use any pesticides so it’s just a wall of glitter when you gaze down upon the field.  We are up on a bit of a hill. Earl spends a lot of the year specifically landscaping our yard for the fireflies so our back yard is quite similar to across the street and I just love it.  I can just sit out there for hours watching the blinking and listening to the frogs talking to us from our pond and the tree frogs in the distance.

As if the fireflies weren’t magical enough I am surrounded by amazing growth everywhere.  Here in New England I definitely live the Wheel of the year and all the tomatoes are just starting to turn red.  The herbs are abundant all over my yard and beans are getting ready to come in. Oh! Sunflowers! I planted them on my deck this year. I’m so excited to show all of you.

This month we are working with some interesting energy! We have the second of two Full Super Moons coming our way less than two weeks away now. I will be putting the reading up for that this weekend so that is one you definitely don’t want to miss.  We’ve been navigating this powerful energy in between the two moons that has been drawing your attention to where you could use more balance in your life and things that may bring you more happiness.  If you reflect upon the things that you’ve been navigating you’ve likely noticed that.  Relationships have been a focus and will continue to be a focus for the remainder of July. Most of you have likely had the desire to spend extra time with friends, family, loved ones, and fur babies.  I know some of you have been adopting some new fur babies as well! I’ve been loving the pictures. 

We are entering a time of abundance in our lives and some of the most wonderful energy.  Enjoy this.  Yes, there is energy that is challenging and chaotic around…I think somewhere there may always be. The key to this thought is making sure to find that balance. End your day by watching the sunset. Wake up in the morning and have your coffee or tea on a porch, on the steps, or even next to an open window where you can smell that fresh morning air. It’s all about your connections right now and that balance.  The energy of the number 7 this month is about connection and it’s going to help you to connect more to the world around you and to your intuitive self.  The power of the Sun is still bringing us long days and working hard to bring us that positive energy, clarity, and energy of abundance. Work with that and use that energy to help you to manifest things that you want to see in your life.  If you’ve been feeling challenged, frazzled and perhaps a bit confused by everything going on, you may find that July is the month to bring some added clarity and information that may help you to gain a greater understanding of things happening in your life.

I pulled the Queen of Cups for us for the month of July.  This is a great month to spend extra time with friends, family, and loved ones.  You will find that spending time making your home comfortable for yourself or for others is something that brings you a lot of joy this month.  It’s a great month to listen to your heart and follow your hearts desires.  Every month you should try to do that but the energy of the heart is powerful this month.  Listen to it and pair it with the positive energy of the sun and you may find some pretty spectacular things are waiting for you.  Your intuition will be strong this month.  Listen to it.  Let it help you guide you.  Keep in mind that you will be more sensitive to the energy of the world around you and account for that.  Extra time spent with bare feet on the grass and breathing in that fresh air will help to keep you balanced.
