Welcome May!
Let’s bring in May with some powerful energy of eclipse season! It definitely will keep things interesting this month! For the next couple of weeks we are going to be in that magickal energy of the space in between the New Moon and solar eclipse and the Full Moon full lunar eclipse that is coming our way this month. Energy of endings and new beginnings is going to be incredibly strong around you during this time. You are going to find this energy helps you to work on bringing more passion into your life or things that you are passionate about. If you have been feeling like things are a bit blah lately I can assure you this roller coaster of energy that we are on now should fix that! Be sure to get your input in there. If you have something you are passionate about this is a great time to get moving on it. It’s all about shaking off energy of the past several months and inviting some extra energy of happiness that makes you really happy to be here in the coming weeks, months and hopefully for a long time to come. Release any challenging energy around you now and choose to give yourself a much needed breather by focusing on what is going right in your life. This will help move this eclipse energy in the direction that you want to see in your life.
The days are getting longer, the sun is helping to bring everything back to life around us. May is always this huge month of transformation here in New England. A lot of things have already started turning green here. Our lawns are green again, some of the trees are coming back, and some early life is stirring in the gardens like my mint and the chives. By the end of May the area that I live in will be transformed to an emerald wonderland and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The nights are warmer here. Most nights I have a window open to listen to those Spring Peepers. Their sound will be replaced soon by crickets in the night. This weekend we celebrated Beltane. I hope a lot of you had a chance to celebrate the energy of fire that brings us passion and inspiration in your life.

May 30 – New Moon
I pulled the two of cups for this month from my main tarot deck, the Mystic Dreamer Tarot. This month you are going to find the focus is on the relationships in your life, this includes your relationship with yourself. You may find that an exciting opportunity comes to you from a connection that you have in your life. I also have a bit of nostalgic energy around us right now for past relationships in our lives and ancestors on the other side. It’s not uncommon to have that energy this time of year as the veils are still thin from Beltane. It’s a great time to leave messages out for loved ones that you have on the other side and look for signs from them. Of course know that it’s not limited to this time of year, it just is a bit easier this time of year.
Be open to change and personal growth this month. You are meant to bloom and come to life in harmony with the world around you. Enjoy all this wonderful energy around you and make it a point to spend some extra time outside.
By the way, if you had a Beltane Fire you can bring some of the ashes to your garden for extra energy of abundance and love.
The energy of the Fool is coming to dance with us for the month of May and I can’t say I’m surprised to see him here! It’s all about the paths you choose in your life. Are you choosing the ones that inspire you? Are you going the directions that make you excited to get up each morning? You have a lot and I mean a lot of room for new beginnings in your life over the next couple of weeks. The question now is what are you going to do with that energy? It’s all about endings and new beginnings. Make the changes you want to see.
