Welcome to May!! I’m super excited. I have flowers that look like Daisies spreading all over my yard and it’s making me so happy. They are white and purple. My yard is also filled with Dandelions. It’s a sea of yellow flowers. I thought Mama bunny was munching on them but there are definitely more than enough for her and all of her baby bunnies and that makes me so happy.
So things have been chaotic. I’m going to just jump right in there. Things have been unpredictable and unexpected things have been happening and I know many of you have been challenged lately. We are in the middle of Eclipse season and I know I’m looking forward to things shifting out of eclipse season with the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse this Friday. Be on your toes this first week of May though for this energy is strong and it’s not done bringing energy of change your way.
Be ready to go with the flow. After that I think perhaps things may start to wind down a bit.. maybe. I’m almost afraid to look. Busy energy is going to continue but it shouldn’t feel so chaotic. You should be starting to work on settling into the changes that the energy of eclipse season brought for you.
The days are getting longer, the sun is helping to bring everything back to life around us. May is always this huge month of transformation here in New England. There is so much green everywhere and so much color! We are turning back into the Emerald wonderland that I know and just adore. The gardens are getting going with mint and chives and flowers are just about everywhere. My Willows have almost come in completely giving me that beautiful green canopy umbrella that has the most wonderful place to hide in the Summer. Our fish and frogs are active again in the pond and seeds are being planted in my deck garden. Our local high school has a plant sale each year and Earl and I are going next week to pick out a few to round out the seeds that we purchased for this year for the deck. The nights are warmer here now though we have been a bit chilly the last few night with a lot of rain. Most nights I have a window open to listen to those Spring Peepers. Their sound will be replaced soon by crickets in the night. As we just turned the wheel of the year with our Beltane celebration I hope a lot of you had a chance to celebrate the energy of fire that brings us passion and inspiration in your life.

I pulled the Judgement card for this month from my main tarot deck, the Mystic Dreamer Tarot. So you’ve been doing a lot of work with this eclipse energy and it’s not done yet. We’ve been talking about this. It’s going to be strong this week and it should start calming a bit next week and then you will begin the process of settling into things that have been happening to you. Don’t go back. This energy of transition has brought a lot of energy of endings and new beginnings into your life and you need to make very sure that you are moving forward and not going backward. Be careful of things trying to drag you back or the opportunity to move back towards things that you’ve worked so hard to leave behind.
You may also find some challenges that come up regarding the work that you’ve been putting in over the last few weeks. What have you learned about yourself? Stand strong in who you are and what you want in your life and you will find the success that you are looking for.
Spend extra time around water. Water is naturally grounding and you will find that it really restores your energy and quickly. While there is challenging energy this month there is also a lot of opportunity to just enjoy the life that is blooming so quickly around you. Have fun this month. If you look for the good and the beautiful things in the world around you, you will surely find it.
