As the Veil thins it’s easier for those on the other side to communicate with us. It’s even a bit easier for them to find the energy to appear for us. This is something that isn’t as common and I always find it to be exciting when they do.
Who’s coming to visit though?
Many of us hope that loved ones we have lost that are on the other side will come through and make their presence known to us letting us know that they are still with us. You may also have ancestors that you didn’t know who spend a bit of extra time checking in on you during the season. It’s also a time of year that it may be easier to find spirits who are checking on people or things that meant a lot to them in life. There is a pretty significant increase in spirit communication overall.
Think about those people in your life that may come to visit you. If you wish to receive messages from them do things to celebrate their memory. For instance, if you would welcome signs from your ancestors take some extra time to work on the ancestry in your family. Look through old photos, ask relatives for stories, set up an ancestor altar where you place things that remind you of them. In doing this you keep their energy alive and you can make it easier for them to come and visit you.
If you are looking for a specific loved one to come through I always tell people to light a white or rose candle and ask them to make their presence known. Be open to any signs that they may send you in the coming 24 – 48 hours. You will find that while sometimes they can bring you signs of their presence immediately in most cases it can take a bit of time.
I do want to emphasize that just because you haven’t noticed any signs or communication doesn’t mean someone hasn’t stopped by to see you. It’s not always easy for those on the other side to communicate. I honestly find that the older souls and those who have traveled many lifetimes have an easier time. Please don’t take it as a sign that they aren’t alright if you haven’t heard something. I also want to note for those of you who have recently lost loved ones that there seems to be a gap in time for communication. For instance, when I lost my Grandparents with both of them I saw immediate signs in the week after they passed, then they slowly stopped and I didn’t see anything for a while. With time I started seeing signs again. It seems to vary at that point on the person and the age of their soul.
