Witch Crafts: Seed Beads

Witch Crafts: Seed Beads
I absolutely love making crafts.  I’m always on the lookout for something new that I can try to things that I can do with my children.  They are grown now but they still love the crafts! This past weekend we made bracelets with seed beads.  I bet they look familiar to many of you!

I was in Girl Scouts as both a scout and a camper for almost 30 years and I spent so many happy days making bracelets, anklets, and friendship pins from seed beads.

How many of you remember making these? Growing up I always had so many of them attached to my laces. We would go to various events with the Girl Scouts and exchange them and I remember swapping them with friends at school as well.

I always think that the arts are important to anyone.  It’s a great way to express yourself and to connect with your thoughts.  It’s also a great way to relax and relieve stress.  I brought the idea of these bracelets to you today as I can see so much potential in them in our craft.  Ready?

Make and energy bracelet for yourself – Make a bracelet for yourself that includes the colors of the energy that you wish to draw towards yourself on any given day.

Bracelets for Rituals or Celebration – Make a special bracelet to wear on special days like an orange and black one for Samhain. You can choose colors that correspond to what you are celebrating or working on.

New or Full Moon Bracelets – On the night of the New or  Full Moon make a bracelet that has the colors of the energy that you wish to work with.  For the New Moon you can charge it with the New Moon and wear it the entire lunar cycle to help with that energy.

Energy Bracelets for Friend – Make a bracelet for a friend and charge it with positive, loving or healing energy for a friend.

Get creative! They are a lot of fun and you can do energy work at the same time you are having fun.  Or you can simply choose the beads that call to you in the moment like I did above and have fun with it!

Have a magickal day!

Much Love and Many Blessings,
