I’ve been feeling Samhain coming for awhile now. I felt it early in September. As September crept by I could feel it’s energy building more by the day and it’s still continuing to build. It’s different this year…. I’ve been trying to put my finger on it.
It started with blue nail polish…. funny right? I seldom wear dark nail polish yet this year I felt called to it. It’s an incredibly dark midnight blue with these beautiful turquoise shimmers that when I turn my hand pick up the light.
When I went to do my graphics for the holiday readings this year blue was calling me. Blue is my favorite color so it’s not all that surprising yet I can feel it all around me right now. 
There was a lapis lazuli bracelet that I saw the other day that I knew had to come to me. One of the beads looks like the Earth….
Usually I pick up on the energy of our ancestors and loved ones on the other side…this year is no different… I can feel them. I can really really feel them. Warriors…..there are warriors ….. our ancestors are warriors. This is incredibly strong and powerful energy…
I’m not sure where it will lead us. I know I have hopes and dreams for the world that i hope to see…. I just want to let you know I feel them. They are here to help and they are trying. If you look for the signs you will likely be starting to see them.
Samhain is our Witch’s New Year. It’s a time to connect with those who have walked before us. It’s a time to let go of what isn’t working and bring new energy towards us. Blue is an incredibly healing color. It’s the color of our emotions and emotional connection. It’s grounding yet dreamy at the same time. It’s the color of our skies, water and life.
For those of you who work with colors though you will know that a colors energy can change with it’s shade. I feel dark blue. The color of lapis lazuli, midnight blue with beautiful turquoise speckles. This is a color of protection. This is a color of emotional freedom and empowerment. It’s mystical and magickal and many of you who work with this shade may pick up on the power I’m feeling.
Is this color calling to you?. If you need extra grounding, protection or personal empowerment I invite you to work with this color. Breathe your energy into this color. There is magick and power in energy and never underestimate what it can do. Let’s raise up this energy together. Don’t forget that we also have a powerful Blue Moon this Samhain.
