Barefoot Energy Bliss

This time of year I get so excited to lose the shoes.  I just adore going barefoot.  If you are looking to ground quickly, often just standing and wiggling your toes in the cool grass or on some toasty sand will do that.  The next few months are shoes optional months for me here.  If I’m in my own home or around my yard I usually will be barefoot.  I always have flip-flops nearby though for going out or navigating my stone driveway.  The stones definitely are not great on the toes. 🙂

You do have to be careful of going barefoot and stepping on things like insects or things that are sharp.  I know others need to be careful as going barefoot doesn’t have the strength and support for your feet that a pair of shoes can provide.  Still, even if it’s only for a few moments you will find the rewards of letting your toes out to play on the Earth can be incredibly calming and overwhelmingly positive for your mental health.

I also love letting my feet sit in water.  I would go camping a lot with my parents when I was young and one of my favorite things to do was to read a book on this amazing rock next to the brook that ran through our campground property. I can still remember how cool the wet rock felt under my feet, or how the sand from the brook felt under my toes.  You can take in a lot of energy with your feet.

Let’s not forget foot soaks.  They can be amazing.  When was the last time you soaked your toes in a tub of warm water with some bath salts or essential oils that smell amazing?  Don’t forget to finish it up with some peppermint lotion. If you have tired toes peppermint lotion is amazing.

If you get some extra time today or in the coming days, spend some time barefoot.  Try out some different things from grass to perhaps some sand or warm pavement.  See how different places make you feel.  Remember that.  It’s something that you can call upon later if you want help influencing your personal energy.

Have an amazingly magickal day!

Much Love and Many Blessings,
