Over ten years ago now I took my first tarot class. I remember taking forever to choose my first tarot deck. I went through so many websites looking for that perfect deck that called to me. I finally settled on the Mystic Dreamer Tarot deck which is still my main deck to this day. Little did I know I was choosing a deck that would become my life in the future.
One of the things I remember about that class is the teacher telling me how many decks of cards that she said. She warned us that if we got into the tarot, it would become addictive and we would likely start collecting decks. At the time she told us she had around a hundred decks. I thought that was absolute madness at the time.
I can tell you that right now I have about fifty decks in the book cases in my office and another thirty or so digital decks maybe more. I love them all! They all have completely different energy. There are so many that are used for different purposes. I have some that I love for Akashic records, Past Lives, Romance, Earth Work, Dragon Energy, Fairy Energy and more.
Then there are also the collector decks. My favorite is the complete set of the Hidden Path and the Well Worn Path from Raven Grimassi.
I also have a Last Unicorn Tarot deck. For those of you who love the Last Unicorn this deck is just gorgeous. I was part of the original kickstarter for the deck so the sides of the cards are golden and it has the most beautiful box. I will be offering readings for you with both of these decks in the future.
