Energy Work To Ease Your Nerves When Flying

How many of you love to fly? How many of you are absolutely terrified of it?

When I was younger I always loved flying.  I grew up in a military family so I was surrounded by planes my entire life.  I have always loved to travel I honestly can’t get enough of it.  When I was in my 20’s I did a lot of traveling before I had my little ones and was lucky enough to see places like Mexico and Aruba.  I also toured with the military several times and I spent some time in Germany, Iceland and France.  Flying with the military is a lot different!  I flew on a gigantic Carrier plane that was a C-130 if you want to look it up. It was filled with pallets of supplies and our gear.  We had jump seats made of nets to sit in along the edge of the plane.  I use to climb to the top of the pallets near the top of the plane and sleep. I really can’t find a good picture of the interior.  It was absolutely huge though.  We would run around playing football inside the plane if that gives you an idea! The biggest thing about the C130 is while is was big it was incredibly slow.  I remember the flight to Germany was never ending.  I went over several times.  My favorite part was for one of the flights I was allowed to sit in the cock pit for the landing into Germany.  It was gorgeous! It was one of my favorite experiences in my life.

Fast Forward several years and I now have little ones and I haven’t flown in a lot of years.  This Summer I had the opportunity to fly to California to visit Earl’s family.  So amazing! I was shaking when I got on that plane the first time.  I must have squeezed his hand so hard during take-off I was absolutely terrified.  By the trip home I was looking out the window the entire time and I must confess I was a bit disappointed when I landed.  I absolutely love flying. I just needed to get over that initial fear and remember how much I loved it.

So what do you do if you are absolutely terrified of flying to help?  You can surround the plane in a bubble of light.  For those of you familiar with shielding it’s the same concept.  You surround that plane in so much love, light and energy of protection.  I find that this is something that helps.  You can use this same method in cars and on a bus as well.

Bring something that is calming to you.  Tuck a protection crystal in your pocket to hold onto.  Wear a favorite sweater or sweatshirt.  Think of anything that makes you feel calm and bring it with you.  It’s all about knowing your energy and knowing what helps you.  I just took Earl with me. He helped huge!

I hope you have a magickal day!

 Much Love and Many Blessings,
