Working with the tarot cards is one of many forms of divination. I started my journey a long time ago by trying various divination tools like pendulums, tarot cards, crystal balls, and others. I even tried a small tire on a rope one time. It worked. 😉
One of my favorites I found a long, long time ago in a bath. Coming from New England, I get chilly in the winters, and one of the best things to get the chill out is a long bath with candles. It’s so relaxing. One night, while I was watching the candle flame dance, I wondered if I could use it for divination. I was excited when I realized that I could!
My experimentation with this was quite simple. I based it upon my divination with the pendulum. I prompted it to “Show me Yes,” and it moved in a clockwise circle. “Show me No” made it move counter-clockwise. Moving back and forth in a line meant unsure or unknown. I also got bouncing up and down, which I interpreted as excitement or spirit is with me.
With time, I added some additional things to my divination. The flame fading meant that there was something I needed to watch out for. If it got brighter, it was a more positive result or more likely to succeed.
As with any divination method, I always encourage you to work with spirit and to figure out what works for you. It’s why I started with the questions, “show me yes” and “show me no.”
