Where should we start with this one? Tomorrow night we celebrate our second Full Moon in August, making it a Full Blue Moon. Any time you have two Full Moons in the same month the second is called a Blue Moon. It doesn’t happen that often so this will be one special night! The next time we have a Full Blue Moon won’t be until August of 2024. Our Moon tonight is also a Super Moon, the third of four in a row. We had our first one in July and our final Super Moon in a row will be in September. A Super Moon is when the Moon appears larger in the sky because its orbit is closer to the Earth. It’s incredibly rare to have a Blue Super Moon. In fact, according to Nasa the next one won’t be until January 2037!! Incredible right?
