How many of you love working with Pendulums? The Pendulum is the first divination tool that I picked up and I absolutely love it. Since that first pendulum I have acquired a bit of a collection of different stones to work with for different purposes as all the stones have different energy. When I first started with them I was purchasing them from shops. Some called to me and I’ve had others made special for me like the one above. Earl made that one for me many years ago. It’s made out of soap stone and has the most beautiful energy. For those of you who have been with me a long time you may remember some Moon necklaces that he made of the same material many years ago.
Making pendulums is pretty easy and I’m going to teach you how today. This will make it so that if you ever find a stone that calls to you and you think it would make a perfect pendulum you will know how. With this article you will have a super simple method to make it into the pendulum that you desire.
What You Need:
– Gemstone that you wish to use. Choose one that is approximately 1/2 inch to an inch around so that it will weigh the chain down but not be too heavy to work with. (you can choose larger stones you just need to make sure that the chain and cap can support it.)
– Bell cap
– Chain, braided string or other type of suspension for the pendulum that you wish to use
– bead for the top of the chain or other item you can mount to the top of the chain to hold the pendulum by
– super glue
Pendulums are wonderful divination tools and they are really easy to make. For this project select a gemstone, or even a stone from nature that you wish to work with for your pendulum.
You next want to select a bell cap. You can get these for from almost any craft store or online. I am putting an image below in case you may not be familiar with a bell cap.
Use the super glue and very carefully so as not to get any on your hands glue the cap to the gemstone. Allow it to sit for awhile to dry before you work with it again.
Use the chain you’ve selected and a hoop to attach the chain to the cap. If you’ve chosen to work with a cord, tie a not in the cord at the top of the cap. It should be single strand to the top.
At the top of it, mount another bead or something else that you can hold onto when working with your pendulum.
Could it get any easier? Now you know how! Enjoy!
Have a magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
