Something that is helpful when learning to work with your intuition is looking for those little things in the world that you may not notice on an ordinary day like a spiderweb along your path, a particular leaf that falls in front of you or just next to you, the scent of something that smells amazing on the wind, the ringing of a bell in the distance. Most of us live incredibly busy lives and we honestly likely don’t catch half of what’s going on around us. Something you can do that will help with that is to increase your observation skills.
Do you remember when you were little and you played outside you likely knew every inch of your yard. If something shifted or changed you noticed it right? How many of you have that close of a relationship with your yard and your home today? It’s tougher as we just don’t have the free time that we had when we were little.
What you want to do is look for those little things each and every day. Try to notice tiny details more. Pay attention to what the Earth is doing around you. How is she changing every day. Pay attention to nature and watch what is being built around you, spiderwebs, nests, paths etc. The more you pay attention to these little things the more you will find that you notice.
What’s important about this is not only will you live a more fulfilling life as you notice and are able to appreciate all these things but it will help you with your intuitive gifts as well. When I read the tarot I often say I have a foot in both realms. I am paying attention to your guides and your intuitive gifts but I’m also paying attention to the things going on in the world around me as well. For those of you who have had reading with me you may notice from time to time I will reference songs playing, things that have happened, things that I’m seeing outside or in the house as it all plays a part in the information that I’m gathering and using to get information for you. The more you practice it, the easier it becomes and the more you will find that you are able to absorb.
Have a magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
