Make Your Liquid Soap Magickal

How many of you have scented soaps that you use in your house? I absolutely love having them in my home. I almost always have a variety of lemon soap in the kitchen, as it’s so uplifting. It’s also common to find a variety of lavender in the bathroom or some other fun variety. The shower is a treasure of different scents to choose from.

I can’t tell you how many times I choose to use a soap based on the energy it has. I know, right? Seriously though. Have you ever noticed that if you step into a bath or shower with a citrus-scented soap, it just wakes you up? How about something soothing like lavender for the evening? Another favorite is Eucalyptus and Spearmint when I’m not feeling well or if I’m stressed. There are so many scented soaps out there to choose from.

What if you want something different though? What if you aren’t finding exactly what you are looking for? Maybe you want lavender vanilla soap…. how about citrus and bergamot. What if you want that perfect soap to take a ritual bath or shower with before you work with energy. It’s so easy to customize what you want.

First, start with a basic unscented soap. You can try liquid Castile soap if you are looking for a place to start. It’s a plant-based soap made from vegetables. You will find the soaps that have a vegetable oil base easiest to work with, in my opinion. Make sure it’s a soap with no added scents or chemicals. Then choose the essential oils that you want to work with. I would recommend making small batches at first and experimenting with the scents that you want. That way, if you don’t like the way something smells or you don’t want to use it, you have a small batch. As you get more familiar with the scent combinations that you like and how to make them, you can make bigger batches. You can get giant bottles of Castile soap. Just grab some small containers to play with when mixing them. It can really be a lot of fun and a wonderful addition to your magickal practice.

Have a magickal day!

Much Love and Many Blessings,
