Merry Meet :)))
A lot of us know how to use traditional divination methods, cards, runes, pendulums, and so on. Really though, once you understand divination you can use pretty much anything to assist you. I love this method of divination as it really involves you working with your intuition. Something I always encourage. I believe your intuition is the strongest divination method. The more you work with it, the stronger it will become.
For this method I want you to find something that you can collect things in. I use a large mason jar as you all know I love my Mason Jars. :))) My mason jar is a blue frosted glass though so that it makes the contents inside difficult to see and protected. I would encourage you to use something that is not easy to see into. You can use a container, basket, box, bag whatever you are comfortable with. Just be sure to cleanse whatever you choose to use. This includes whatever you collect. For this divination method you are going to collect items to use. They do not need to be all the same. However, they should all be natural or nature based.
Take several walks over the next few weeks. On each walk, look for things that catch your eyes that you can use. They should be fairly small in size as you need to be able to keep them all. Some examples are acorns, small stones, sea glass, small pinecones, shells, roots etc. Use your intuition to find them and choose what you think you want to work with. Each time you collect an item, cleanse and consecrate it and add it to your container. You can add to this over time as you wish. Don’t feel like once you use it for the first time your collection is done. :))) You can also remove things from the collection if you feel that they are no longer working for you.
When you are ready to try this method find a place and make yourself comfy. The best method is to do this outside. Clear a space in the dirt if possible and make it flat. Draw a cross onto the ground to divide the area into four sections. Concentrate on the question you have at hand. When you are ready gently shake the items onto the ground. Take note of which items land where and use your intuition to interpret what you see. You may want to keep notes on your interpretations until you get familiar with this method.
Much Love and Many Blessings,
