New Moon Blessings!

How many of you are excited about the energy tonight? We’ve been in a bit of an energy portal that kicked off with the Full Moon and Lunar eclipse we had in November.  We will close that energy with the New Moon and Total Eclipse.  The New Moon is technically at 2:43 EST in the morning on December 4th. Something interesting is that for at least the last two years we have had a New Moon with a Total Solar Eclipse in December.  This is our second solar eclipse of the year with the first one that we experienced being in June.  I feel that this one is bringing us some wonderful and encouraging energy and that’s what I like to see.  How many of you have been feeling a bit of a sense of relief lately or feeling perhaps a bit more relaxed.  This energy that has been around us has been meant to help shed some light on things happening in our lives…more on a personal level I feel.  It may have helped you to clarify how you are feeling about something and that’s important.  When you are clear on your feelings about things it makes it easier to make decisions. 

Eclipses bring the energy of endings and new beginnings pretty rapidly.  When we have a Solar Eclipse paired with a New Moon we have temporary darkness to help us banish anything that we may need to let go of in our lives and then move towards the new energy that is waiting for us.  Tonight is the night to say goodbye to the past, things that no longer are in your best interest, energy that drags you down, things you may no longer need and get ready to welcome in the energy of our New Moon and the New Year.  

Our New Moon is in Sagittarius tonight.  I really love the energy that the New Moon is bringing us this Lunar Cycle. It’s about new beginnings, hope, inspiration, and happiness.  You will find this energy is going to make you perhaps a bit more prone to daydreaming about things that you would like in your future.  Pay attention to where those thoughts wander as they may have important clues for you about the upcoming year.  This energy will also help you with courage and confidence so you may find that it’s a great time to try something new! I have this whimsical and magickal energy coming in tonight and I love that.  It’s perfect for the holiday season.  Enjoy it! So often the holiday season goes by in the blink of an eye.  Make sure you carve out all the time you can to enjoy it as time is a precious gift that we are all given and I think a lot of us often take for granted.



The card I pulled for our New Moon this evening and the energy that it is bringing for us this lunar cycle is the High Priestess.  You are going to find that you are more connected with yourself this month and that’s really important.  You will find that your intuition is stronger than usual and you may find it helps to shed some light on things that perhaps have been a bit confusing for you in the previous weeks.  It’s a powerful month for learning things and taking in information.  It’s a great month to enjoy the company of friends, family and loved ones and to make sure you take a bit of extra time to enjoy the magick of the season yourself as well!
