Merry Meet 🙂 This is our October New Moon, a New Moon that is mingling with the thinning veil and Samhain that is approaching and paired with a powerful Solar Eclipse and the beginning of Eclipse season. You will find changes happening in your life with the energy of this New Moon.
As you move towards Samhain you will often find yourself letting go of things to make room for your Witch’s New Year. Everything in the world is made up of energy and energy loves to stay balanced. To bring new things your way you must let things go. Please note that this doesn’t always mean physical things. If you clean out a room in your house and you have lots of new space it doesn’t mean that something new is going to come and take that space back up. You may find that you receive extra joy from the new space and that is the energy that is taking its place. Does that make sense?
On top of the Samhain energy that is already bringing you this strong energy of change, our New Moon tonight is being empowered by a powerful Solar Eclipse and the beginning of Eclipse Season. This is also bringing an incredibly powerful time of change as eclipse energy does that will end with our October Full Moon just before Samhain. Eclipse energy often brings energy of insight, and illumination, it can bring clarity to things that you may need to let go of or move towards you. With this particular pairing, I am picking up on energy that is going to illuminate one or more things that you may have in your shadows that may be holding you back in your life.
The shadows are the place where you send things that you don’t want to deal with. It may be unpleasant thoughts or situations, pain, negative energy, or anything else that you don’t want to carry. The trick is not to let things accumulate in there. It’s ok to send them there temporarily but you want to make sure that you circle back and work with that energy to remove it from the shadows so that it doesn’t have the opportunity to grow. I have a spell above that will help you with this energy. Give extra attention to those challenges that may come your way in the coming weeks. They may help to reveal things that you need to deal with or work on to move forward in your life.
As you know the New Moon often sets the pace for the Lunar cycle and this will be a strong lunar cycle of transition and change. Don’t let this intimidate you or scare you in any way. Embrace change. Embrace moving anything that may be holding you back. It’s as if you are staring at a gate on your path and if you work with this energy you are going to be able to go through that gate and see what waits for you on the other side. Hopefully, some amazing things are waiting for you! With hard work comes rewards and you will find that the efforts that you put in will be rewarded in their appropriate time.
I also want to let you know that this energy is going to have a lot to do with the relationships in your life. It can help strengthen them if they are in your best interest or you may find that it’s the straw that breaks them if they aren’t. Some relationships are amazing. They are balanced and full of love and happiness. Others are challenging but you learn things from them. Some are simply not meant to be, they exhaust you and drain you and those are the ones that you need to be careful of. This energy will help to bring you clarity on relationships in your life. Those that are good though stand to gain access to a deeper level of connection. If you are in a relationship that you want to deepen the connection in, you may find that this energy is quite helpful. 🙂 You may also find that it brings some new relationships into your lives.
