I was not only ready but excited for the snow that we got last night. There’s something about snow at night that I find incredibly calming. Last night we were lucky as well as the Moon was still quite full illuminating all the new fallen snow in the fields behind my house. It was really beautiful.
It’s always hard to capture things like this with my phone but I tried! This was taken around 11:00 last night. It will give you an idea how bright it was. It’s not even close to what we were able to see. It was really pretty. You also can’t see the snow falling in this picture. I love snow all the time but at night it makes me so sleepy. It’s the perfect night to get cozy with a cat, a toasty drink and a good book or show on tv and watch it come down and that’s just what I did.
This morning I woke up to a beautiful winter wonderland. Gone are the storm clouds and the sky is bright blue.
Snow brings beautiful energy of new beginnings. If you’ve ever had the chance to stand and look at an area where snow has recently fallen and is untouched it’s something that I find incredibly renewing. You can be the first person to create your own path in the snow. If you are looking to bring something new into your life or you are working on something new, add a bit of snow to what you are doing. Spend some time out there with the snow and focus on the energy that you want to bring into your life. It doesn’t have to be complicated.
It’s also cleansing. If you are feeling out of sorts or down you will find that a walk out in the snow will always boost your spirits and make you feel better. It helps to move any energy that isn’t in your best interest away from you. Just be sure to bundle up!!
As a child I always thought snow was magickal. I remember spending so much time in snow suits and all bundled up staring at the snow sparkling under the light of the snow. I always thought it was one of those most magickal things to watch. I’ve always loved things that sparkle. I also love how it make snow forts as I would call them. You will find pockets in the trees that were sheltered from the snow and it forms a bit of a natural fort. So much fun to play in. The picture at the top of the article was taken at a small spot of trees in my yard that I adore. There’s something about that area. We have a fairie garden to the right in the warm months.
If you have snow where you live I encourage you to get out and take a walk in it! Watch how it makes you feel happy.
Have an amazingly magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
