Recently I discovered a new form of an easy craft that I absolutely adore, Sticker Mosaics. It’s a bit similar to color by number except you use stickers to fill in the numbers. Each space has a number and you find the sticker that matches. It’s an incredibly relaxing activity and I can sit for hours working on it. We went to the Canal at the Cape a couple of weekends ago and I made the hummingbird above while watching the boats go by. It took me most of the day.
They have all different levels of books. The one I chose is a bit more complicated. Some of the pieces were really small and you definitely would need nails or maybe some tweezers to work with them. However that was part of what I loved about it.
With this particular book you are meant to tear out the projects not the pages with the stickers on them. There are other books that you are meant to tear out the stickers. Honestly the ones in this book are so detailed you may want to put them in a sleeve in a binder to protect them when you are done.
You can get books on a variety of topics and difficulty so it’s really up to you what you prefer. I saw one that I am interested in called Masterpieces.
