Summer Witch Reading Program


How many of you love the Summer Reading Programs at the library? Growing up they always made Summer a bit more magickal for me. I couldn’t wait to get out and look at the lists of books that they had available and the chances to win prizes along the way.  I was incredibly happy when our library also came up with a Summer Adult Reading Program.  Sometimes I really enjoy having book recommendations on that list! There was something about crossing them off when I read them that I found really satisfying!

I found one of those lists in a bag I hadn’t used in a awhile from a few years ago and it got me thinking how fun it would be to have a Summer Witch Reading Program.  My thinking was that I could put together a list for you of some of my favorite books in my personal witch library and some others that I have heard of that I haven’t been able to read yet to get you started.  You can add anything you want to this list.  May out how often you want to read books this Summer.  Maybe you want to choose one a month or one a week.  Then you have to make it a bit more fun by adding some prizes.  Choose something that brings you happiness.  Maybe go out and purchase a new crystal for yourself after the first book.  Maybe you want some new oil for aromatherapy after the second book.  You can choose fancy book marks, dream catchers, a magickal journal or pen.  Look for things that go along with your spiritual path that will bring you happiness.
