Many of you know that I love to read. Some of my favorite books are historical fiction and I of course love a good story that involves witches. Louisa Morgan has a series that I adore as she has managed to combine both of these into one.
It started with A Secret History of Witches in 2017. This one starts in Brittany in 1821 and details generations of witches and how they hand down their magick.
I am currently in the middle of reading the second book in the series, The Witch’s Kind. This one came out in 2019. It’s set in the aftermath of World War II. The main character is living on her own and her pup brings her home a mysterious baby. I’m definitely enjoying my read so far.
The newest book is the Age of Witches. I absolutely can’t wait to get this one. I have it on loan from the library waiting for me. It’s about witches who are related to Bridget Bishop from Salem. I’m so excited to see what she’s done with this book. All of the books are standalone, you don’t need to read them in order. I wanted to pass them along to you as I know many of you will enjoy them.
