Many of you may remember my excitement just before Samhain last year when a beautiful land trust was opened near my house. It was in this area that we routinely drove through just because it was so beautiful. There was this dirt road with a gate that I always wanted to explore but it was listed as private property. I got my wish to explore where that dirt road went last Fall when they opened this beautiful land trust to the public. I found the original article on Daily Magick for you! It took some digging! I published it to the blog so if you want to see the pictures and read the original post you can. You can find it here: The Land Trust
Many of you may also remember me telling you of my adventures there this winter when I took a spontaneous walk in sneakers and found myself slipping on my walk on the beautiful mountain. Sneakers will never hold me back! 🙂 It was a sight to see for sure, but one of my favorite memories from winter. The picture above is a bit before that time in the snow but still beautiful. It’s my favorite place to go and sit.
The other day we took a journey out there and while I was there I took some pictures and videos to share with you as I know many of you have been enjoying seeing the land trust.

It’s definitely a lot greener than it was in the fall! 🙂 It’s just as beautiful as we had hoped it would be. This is a view from one of the viewing platforms.

A beautiful path through the fields. Some of this area was a farm many moons ago.

I just adore old New England roads.

We were excited to find lily pad with huge yellow flowers near the bridge.

The old cabin in the woods gently restored to withstand some extra tests of time.

A great place to spend a quiet afternoon.

The short walk from the cabin to the lake.

My favorite place. This is where I took one of the videos for you. You can see it here: https://www.facebook.com/WiccanMoonsong/videos/468899090874365

This is what you see if you turn directly to the left of those chairs. If you see the fence to the left in this picture there is a waterfall behind it. This is a dam that helps to create the lake that has been here for an incredibly long time. I have a video of the waterfall for you here:

The videos seem to take a second to come in clear. I hope you enjoy them! 🙂

This is the spillway for the dam. We have been here when this is flowing. It’s really quite pretty.

On the side of the lake. :))
I hope you enjoyed the tour!
Have a magickal day today!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
