The crow is a Spirit Animal that I see come up for others frequently. I have worked with several people who have the crow as a lifetime spirit animal and the crow is an incredibly popular spirit animal to work with people for a time when they are needed. Funny enough I find them most often with those who are witches.
I’ve worked with the crow for a long time and I always welcome them when they come to work with me on my path. I’ve been seeing them a lot lately as they have been working hard to bring my attention to things that I need to see on my path. When you find a crow on your path pay attention to what they are trying to tell you or to show you. Sometimes you will hear them calling to you from nearby. When you have time, take the time to see if you can find where they are and say hello. They are incredibly smart and they are among one of the birds that can be more social if you work with them frequently. We often leave out peanuts for our crows here. We had a dog for many years though so they are still tentative in coming into the yard but they’ve been getting more frequent as time goes by.
Crows are one of the more recognized spirit animals world wide. They are also one of the longer standing ones, meaning they have been looked to for their wisdom and energy for a long time. While today many may see them as lucky, in ancient times they have been seen as messengers of death or creatures from the other side. Working with the Tarot for a long time while sometimes death may be literal, often it is just the death of something in your life. It represents a time of strong transition and time for something new. I have found the crow to bring that energy as well. I have also found them to bring messages from those on the other side. If you find one calling to you it may be the delivery of a message from a loved one on the other side.
I encourage you to take more time to notice the crows around you in your lives and to even take time to talk to them. Yes, I am one who will stand out there talking to a crow! They are amazing to work with.
