When I was little I always thought the moths came in one variety, the type that I always saw flying towards the lanterns at my campground.. white. :))) Many many years later a beautiful moth caught my attention as she helped my children and I one day. The Luna Moth is a beautiful moth that primarily comes out at night and almost glows in color. It’s really beautiful and I’ve been blessed to see one a few more times since that day. :))) This beautiful moth started my love and appreciation of moths.
Did you know that moths come in all shapes and colors? If you aren’t sure what you’re looking at you can easily mistake them for a butterfly. A few differences are that moths generally are nocturnal while butterflies enjoy being out in the day. However you will find moths that will come out during the day. One of the quickest ways to tell are there antennae. Butterflies are generally longer with a bit of a ball on the end, whereas moths are more rough and sometimes look like a feather depending on the type of moth.
If a moth is your spirit animal what traits does it assist you with. If we think about a month chasing that flame on a candle or a light they are absolutely determined that something is in that light that they want. So for that we are going to give them courage and determination.
Moths bring the light. They can help you to find your way and help to provide clarity for you on your path.
Their beautiful gentle nature can be soothing if you get the chance to work with them and you will find that they can bring hope and optimism to your path with the light energy that they bring for you.
They are primarily nocturnal and carry the energy of the Moon with them especially the Luna Moth. If you ever get the chance to work with her, the energy is amazing. They are mysterious as well as sometimes they can be hard to find.
