It’s my favorite month of the year! I adore September. The weather is always gorgeous, the nights and early mornings are chilly to break up the heat of Summer and for some reason the sky is almost always a gorgeous blue color in this month in New England and it seems like there aren’t as many clouds. We just spent a few hours walking back from dropping off our rental car and it was just the perfect weather. It’s hot in the sunshine but there is this gorgeous cool breeze. We walked about eight miles through town and it was so much fun spending time at the bridges and poking in and out of antique shops. It’s what I love about September is I spend so much time outside as it’s just optimal weather. It’s also fair season! The Big E out here starts the week after next. It’s the largest fair in New England and goes for three weeks. We always get passes as we love watching all the shows that go on there.
This is often a big month for Pagan and Wiccan festivals so be sure to keep your eyes open for any local events going on near you. I know in our area we have a lot of Medieval and Rennaisance festivals this time of year which are always fun if you get the chance to go. Make sure you get out there and enjoy the month!
