Your Passport to the Religions of the World

When I first started seriously studying my path I was encouraged to explore all the different religions of the world.  It was something that completely baffled me honestly.  Growing up as a Protestant I was never taught to explore the religions of the world.  It wasn’t something that was encouraged.  The heavy emphasis was on one God and one way of worship.

Part of what I love about Wicca and why I remain so true to it is that the big emphasis is on exploring your own personal path.  Go out and experience what a Buddhist Temple is like, or a beautiful ancient church in Italy, attend a service in the beautiful Marble Mountains.  My point is that there are so many different religions out there and cultures and each one has their own take on who to worship and how to worship them.  Instead of fearing them embrace them for the beautiful examples of culture.  I want you to feel welcome walking into any one of them for you are a child of the Divine and nothing else should really matter.

As you practice Wicca and work with various spells and magick in your rituals you will find that you want to call upon various deities, ascended masters or other important figures from various religions.  Working with one doesn’t convert you to that religion.  It means that you understand and respect that particular deity and invite them to work with you.

Spirituality is a beautiful thing and can you imagine how different the world would be if every person embraced all the different religions of the world instead of restricting their members to only use one method of worship?

Explore the different religions of the world.  Adopt what feels right to you.  Take a little bit of each place you go to, or take a whole lot from certain ones.  What’s important is that it is  your religious practice, your spirituality and your life.  “You do you.”

Have a magickal day!

Much Love and Many Blessings,
