Yule Essential Oil

The first thing we want to do is make the concentrated Yule oil.  You can use this oil for rituals as well if you want or anything else you can think of.  This will be in a strong version so you will want to use it with care.  You can dilute it down into water like we will for the pine cones or add it to a carrier oil to make it easier to use for anointing candles for rituals and other things you may want it for.

Combine the following oils into a suitable container. I personally love dark glass if you can find it.  If you wish to just make one pine cone you can divide this oil by 10 to give you closer to the right amount for one. This amount will give you enough to make about a dozen pine cones.  They are amazing to tuck into your tree if you have one or to use around the house during Yule.

 – 20 drops cinnamon oil
 – 20 drops clove oil
 – 10 drops mandarin oil
 – 10 drops pine oil
 – 20 drops frankincense oil
 – 20 drops myrrh oil

Once your oil is ready mix a bit of it with water in a small spray bottle.  You don’t need to fill the spray bottle.  Just about 1/3 of the way, dependent upon how many you are making. You can create the mixture to the strength that you want.  We all have different preferences and this is definitely something that you can make the way you wish and you should!

Dust off the pine cone and do your best to make sure it is free of any debris.

Spray it with the water and essential oil mix.  Be generous with the spray but do not soak the pine cone.

Set it into a plastic bag that seals.

Let it stay in that bag for 24 to 48 hours.

Once it is set you can decorate it if you wish with sequins, ribbons, glitter, or anything else to make it festive. You can also use fake snow or paint on them.  Another idea is to string them as a garland.  They are wonderful to hang around the house.  There are so many different ways to use these.  Have fun and get creative!

Have a magickal day!

Much Love and Many Blessings,
