We will have three supermoons in 2021 and we celebrate the first one tonight. These three supermoons will be in a row. This is similar to the trio we experienced in 2020 except the supermoon trio in 2020 began in March. If you remember that trio brought us some intense energy of change. This year the Full supermoons fall on April 26th, May 26th and June 24th. It’s interesting as in a way I almost feel like we are closing a bit of an energetic portal with these three supermoons that we began with the three from last year. We have all experienced a lot of change since that first trio and learned a lot. With the energy beginning tonight I have an emphasis on love, happiness and moving towards hope and inspiration.
Our Full Moon this month is known by many names. One of those names is the Full Seed Moon. As the Spring begins all around us you will notice seeds being blown around. It’s also a time to get ready to start moving seeds and seedlings outdoors. I know we just spent yesterday organizing all of our direct sow seeds and making a plan on when we need to bring them out as well as the seedlings in our greenhouse. We will be working on getting most of them out over the next several weeks.
My favorite name for our Full Moon tonight is the Pink Moon. This Moon was named for flowers that often began to come up this time of year that were pink. I know that I look forward to our Magnolia blooming at this time every year. 🙂
I have spent countless happy hours under the Magnolia when it blooms. It’s one of the first trees to blossom in my area and I always look forward to it. You can see that the Willows across the street are just starting to come in.
With this Full Moon tonight I am picking up so much love and it’s just refreshing. You know that I’ve been talking a lot about self-love and empowerment and that energy will grow with our Full Moon this evening. Energy of love is so important. It brings us happiness in life and healing. It’s a great time to connect with friends, loved ones and fur babies.
Use this love to help you navigate the times that you are in. You are in a time of strong transition and change and it’s quite important right now that you make sure you go with the flow. This isn’t time to build a fort and hide it it but a time to start moving back out into the sunshine and letting the energy of the Earth surround you, inspire you and heal you. It’s time to move forward. We’ve been working on forward movement for a little while now and that energy is going to intensify tonight and as we work our way through this trio of supermoons.
For our Full Moon tonight I drew the King of Pentacles and he really does a wonderful job matching up with the energy that I’ve been picking up. We are coming out of a forest. It’s been a long walk, really confusing at times and tough to see. You should find that you are now emerging into a beautiful field of sunshine and flowers as we celebrate our Full Moon tonight and move towards Beltane. The energy of the sun has a strong presence with us and is going to bring us warmth, clarity, hope and inspiration. This card is a message from our guides that not only is everything going to be ok but everything is ok. Take a deep breath. Settle into this energy. There is wonderful energy of abundance and love around you now to help you to create changes in your life that you wish to see. Don’t be afraid of this energy. Work with it. Look at what it wishes to show you.
