This is it! The final Full Moon of 2021! Can you believe it? The next Moon I will be writing to you about will be the New Moon on January 2nd of 2022. Something about that is just a bit surreal at the moment. It’s a bit like the weather we’ve been having here in New England! I had a dusting of snow last Friday that I told you about that made our holiday night out at Old Sturbridge Village amazing. This week it’s been in the 50’sand I believe it hit 65 here yesterday. I know we’ve been breaking records. The warm weather has been amazing. Tomorrow it is dropping back down and it’s going to snow! I do believe we will have a white Yule here. That is what happened last year and while I love the warm weather I must confess that I’m hoping for snow just for that week. Then we can proceed straight to Spring!
Our Full Moon tonight is known as the Cold Nights Moon or Long Nights Moon by many. It is the closest Full Moon to our Winter Solstice in just a few short days on the 21st. As many of you know that’s the official beginning of winter as well as Yule. It’s also the longest night of the year. Once we pass that day we start experiencing longer days and moving back towards the return of our Sun. As we are turning from the dark time of the year and moving towards the light you may find yourself reflecting on things this evening. You may find things in the shadows that you need to pay attention to calling for your attention. It’s a bit of a time for deep reflection on where you have been and where you wish to go. It’s also our Final Moon of 2021 making it a great time for this as well as you get ready to move into a brand New Year. It can also be quite the magickal time as many of you know that the stars are able to shine brightest in the night sky.
Our Moon is in Gemini tonight adding its energy to help you to see things with a bit more clarity and to perhaps figure out what energy you wish to draw towards you as you get ready to close the door on 2021. This isn’t a great night to begin new things. It’s more of a night of contemplation and reflection. It’s also a wonderful night to just enjoy the magick of the season that is all around us. Sit with that energy. Look for the magick in it. See what it wishes to show you. While these are busy times I can feel a beautiful stillness around us as well allowing us a moment to catch our breaths and look around before 2022 comes to us with a New Moon and New Energy to pick up the pace.

Snow reminds you that force breaks more than it creates. Be gentle as you move ahead and trust that all will be revealed in due time.”
This card is from the Season of the Witch Yule Oracle. I usually don’t include the description in my articles but I really loved the description on this card. It’s one of the reasons that I love this deck. I have to say that when I pulled this card for the Full Moon it just felt so perfect. Much like newly falling snow can pause the hustle and bustle of the world bringing peace and calm to the world that it is impacting I feel this energy around us now. I told you earlier that I feel a bit of a pause in the energy around us. I don’t feel it will last long so make sure you take part in it so that you don’t miss it. You will find healing energy around you now to heal the past and get you ready to step into that door to 2022. You will find the snow here to smooth things out a bit for you and to just remind you of the beauty in the world around us. It’s quite easy to get caught up in the drama of the world and all the challenging things that happen on a day-to-day basis. Sometimes you need to simply pull back and shift your perspective In taking that time to breathe, to love, to find happiness, to heal, and to look for magick you give yourself time to restore your soul and to really just find what you need so that you are ready to go out and experience another day in the gift of life that you have been given. Find that moment tonight in the Full Moon.
