Hitting the Pause or Reset Button in Life

We have all had those days that we wake up in the morning and you just feel like something is off.  Maybe something has happened in the day that has upset you.  Perhaps nothing at all has happened but you can feel that your energy is off.   I think many of us will try to push through when something like this happens but you will often find if you take time to pause and fix things you will be more productive later.

When you aren’t feeling yourself there are a whole lot of reasons it can happen but you need to know that it can throw off your personal energy.  When you take time to pause and correct what’s wrong if you can you give yourself time to also help your personal energy to get back into rhythm with the energy of life that surrounds you.

There are so many ways to do this.  Many of you know that I’m a big advocate of energy maintenance, grounding, cleansing and shielding can be so important to maintaining your personal energy. Meditation and yoga are also absolutely amazing at helping your energy. I can’t tell you how many times I have hit the pause button in my life and these methods have helped.  Another favorite go-to of mine is a long walk.  Fresh air and exercise almost always make me feel better and can quickly get me back on task.   You will find that most of the time taking a half-hour to an hour out of your day to give yourself that time to reset your energy can really go a long way to how the rest of your day will run.

There are going to be times in life when you need more than that.  Know your body and your personal energy and be sure to honor them by taking time where you may need it.  I know that sometimes it’s not always possible to take the time or the pause that we need.  When that happens work in as many mini pauses as you can. They can add up to big results.  Deep breaths, short walks, mini-meditations, stretching, anything you can think of that helps shift your energy to where you want it.  By taking time to maintain your energy you will have a positive impact on your personal health and wellness.
