How many of you love celebrating the New Moon? I have always loved the energy of the New Moon. There is so much potential in it and it’s a great night for working with a bit of magick. Today I have a fun exercise for you that I hope many of you will enjoy. We are going to make a New Moon Wish Jar.
Find a Mason Jar or other clear jar that you want to store your New Moon wishes in. Over the next few days, I want you to collect things that are meaningful to you that you want to put in your jar. You are looking for things that you are thankful for and things that you want to attract more of for your future. So for instance, if you wish for more money you may want to add a bit of money. Want luck? Find a four-leaf clover or perhaps a lucky penny. You can also things that have special meaning to you like a pretty stone you find on a walk or a feather. This is your jar and what’s most important about this jar is that you create the jar that you want.
On the night of the New Moon, you can decorate the jar if you want. On that night go out and give thanks to your guides for all the blessings that you have in your life. Tell them your wishes, your hopes, and your dreams. Look for a special star to wish on and make that wish. Watch for a meteor or a shooting star. Make this a special night to welcome the new energy coming your way. Have fun creating your jar over the next few days.
