Samhain Tea

With Samhain coming soon it’s the perfect time to make a special drink for the season.  Many of you know that I adore tea and I’ve come up with a wonderful recipe that not only smells great but tastes amazing as well.  This tea will not only help you to stay grounded during the energy of Samhain but will also help you to strengthen your intuition so that you have more clarity while bringing more of the energy of the season around you. Ready?

Gather the following

 – a cinnamon stick for energy of abundance, blessings and extra protection.

 – cloves for protection, clarity and healing.

 – nutmeg is a spice of Samhain and will help improve clairvoyance, balance and luck.

 – Vanilla extract  for good fortune, calming energy and clarity.

If you are looking for a good Vanilla extract I found this one about six months ago and it changed everything for me.  It’s so yummy! It’s the first one I’ve had that doesn’t seem to have that alcohol aftertaste that so many vanilla extracts do.  You can find it here: Molina Vanilla Blend.

 – Ginger for luck and healing.  You can usually find fresh ginger in the market.  Just cut a slice and add it.

Add the mix to a tea ball and float it in your pot of tea or cup of tea.  I recently got this tea infusion set from house again and I just love it so much. If you’re interested you can find it here: Tea Ball Infuser  This set comes with two that are good for cups and one that is good for a pot so you can make it either way.

For those of you who have slow cookers you can use this same mix to scent your house with the smell of Samhain as well.

If you have a sensitive tummy add the cloves and ginger at the end if you are cooking things on a stove or use a small amount until you figure out where you like the taste to be.

I hope you enjoy my Samhain Tea!

Much Love and Many Blessings,

Jasmeine Moonsong
