Ready for February? Hopefully, our first month of the New Year brought many of you some wonderful energy. We have some strong energy of transition and change around us this year centered around personal empowerment and self-love and you are going to find that energy has a strong influence on us for much of this year.
As I’m writing this to you we are in anticipation of a snow storm coming our way tomorrow. It’s expected to bring some wind and maybe three to six inches of snow. That will be more than we have seen this winter so we will see! Overall it’s been an incredibly mild winter here in New England. Up until about a week ago we still had green grass which is pretty impressive. We’ve been dealing with a bit of extreme cold the last few days so I’m honestly happy to have this storm come in and push that extreme cold out of here.
I have a mixed bag of energy for us this month. I have so much new energy all around us pushing our personal energy. I can feel things starting but maybe not getting results that we are looking for or wanting…frustration. While I always encourage you to keep moving towards what you want you may find that the first couple of weeks of February is best spent focusing on personal love and happiness. I have this beautiful calming energy that many of you may find that you want to sink into. It’s a great time over the next few days to just breathe. I think so many of us could use that now. Just come back to center and breathe enjoying right where you are for now. This energy will be around us for Imbolc and it’s some beautiful energy to celebrate the holiday.
As the New Moon comes on the 11th I’m feeling that energy starts to pick up as new energy builds around us almost seeming to burst in some circumstances waiting for an unseen energetic door to open. Perhaps it’s a matter of divine timing but you can feel this energy ready to get going.
We then move into Valentine’s Day. Regardless of your relationship status be sure to celebrate love on this day. Light a red or pink candle and send some beautiful energy of love out into the world. We could all use a bit of extra love this year. <3
As we move into the second part of the month I have energy shifting and in a big big way. I can feel productivity going up and that door I talked about earlier….it’s starting to open. Some of you may feel the quickened pace of this energy in a big way. Rest up the first half of the month because the second half is going to go by in a whirlwind. It’s a great time to get things done and find success. This is when progress will be made and we should see that happening all around us as well. Let’s take a look at some of the important dates this month:

February 14 – Valentine’s Day
February 27 – Full Moon
I pulled the world for us for this February from my main deck, the Mystic Dreamer Tarot. Focus your energy this month on dreams. What do you want to see in your future? There will be a strong emphasis on moving towards what makes you feel happy in life and that’s so important.
I have a lot of energy surrounding animals this month. I know here in New England it’s been really cold. We’ve been leaving suet cakes out, bird feed and other things as we have them. We left some English Muffins out the other day and found a fox bouncing across our yard in happiness when he discovered one in the middle of the night. Things like water are helpful and we find that we have a lot of visitors to our small pond that we try to keep open for them as many other sources are frozen now. Anything that you can think of to help them. It’s a great month to spend some extra time with your furbabies as well if you have them. They bring us so much love.
Focus your attention this month on following your dreams and doing what you love. Anything is possible is the message that I’m getting. Just because it doesn’t happen right away doesn’t mean that it won’t. Hold onto hope and inspiration for better days are definitely coming our way.
