Welcome September!!

7It’s here, it’s here! My favorite month is here.  I’ve always thought that September was the best month here living in New England. The skies are so blue! This month they almost always are this gorgeous crisp shade of blue.  The days are still warm but the mornings and evenings are cool enough to open the windows to cool down the house and make it smell amazing.  It’s also the best time of year to go for an early morning walk.  Towards the end of the month we celebrate the arrival of Fall with the Autumn Equinox and the world just transforms into the most gorgeous colors of gold and red against those bright blue skies and we enter the season of the witch.  The Samhain decorations start coming out and apple season is here. Let’s be honest… I’ve already started taking them out.

I just found this cute Kitty. Loki is making friends. 🙂

I often find that these months have the best smells as well! Apple, cinnamon and pumpkin smells starting to show up everywhere and the crisp air has a smell that is just amazing.

Let’s take a look at what’s coming our way this month.

September 1  – Celtic Tree month of Hazel ends

September 2-  Celtic Tree month of the Vine starts.

September 14 –  The New Moon

September 17 – Bewitched began in 1974

September 21 – International Day of Peace

September 21 – 23 – Mabon (dependent upon your tradition is when you will celebrate)

September 22 – The Autumn Equinox

September 29 – Celtic Tree month of Vine ends.

September 29 – Full Super Moon! (It’s the fourth one in a row and the final one!)

September 30 – Celtic Tree month of Ivy begins.

We are entering the season of the witch and I’m so excited!

Have an amazingly magickal day!

Much Love and Many Blessings,

Jasmeine Moonsong
